- 5 / 5By Clare WarnerOkay so admittedly I have not been for some time, but it's a lovely pub with homemade food in huge portions. Some staff have changed I think but I know Paul is a good guy. Good chef in kitchen Frankie, Porgey, Luke and little Shane too. Jon the owner, although a tough boss to work for ( I worked there from 2011- 2014 ) he only ever has the customers in mind. He demands an exceptionally high level of customer service and so can only presume that the reviews which state otherwise were on days when he was not on the premises. I learned alot from Jon.
Genuinely miss the regulars so much, they are not grumpy they are all such characters.
